Description

This elegant pen demonstrates the mastery of our artisans in applying a modern design aesthetic to the traditional guilloché engraving. The geometric pattern is engraved into the barrel, cap and section, all of which are made of solid sterling silver.

Inspired by an Italian cityscape, the geometric blocks of this design pay homage to the anachronistic mix of ancient and modern architecture in contemporary Italy. Upon close inspection, one sees that this beautiful design is created with nothing more than offset parallel lines. The pen is a pleasure to write with and a conversation piece to behold.

The silver barrel stamped with 925, the Italian designation for sterling silver, and *675 TO, our hallmark as assigned by the Italian silversmiths’ guild. The appointments are plated with 18kt rose gold, and the smooth writing Bock 250 stainless steel nib, engraved with the Grifos logo, glides effortlessly on paper, delivering a smooth and consistent line. It is available in EF, F, M and B.

We equip each fountain pen with a Schmidt Technology K5 converter for using bottled ink.

We ship the pen in a thoughtfully designed presentation box which is embossed with our logo. Enclosed within is a certificate of origin, assuring you of the pen’s authenticity and provenance.
