Briar Root Fountain Pen

SKU: NMF512-AD-GX07-Briar Categories: , Tags: , ,

This elegant pen’s barrel is hand turned from briar root, a very dense wood sourced in Calabria, Italy. This material is very smooth and produces a warm tactile experience. The solid silver cap and section are guilloché engraved with a chessboard pattern, and pen appointments are plated in 18kt gold.

All of our silver pens are stamped with our Italian goldsmith guild hallmark <*AO 28> and the oval symbol (925), the assurance to each customer that we are using solid sterling silver.

Please note that our wood-barreled pens are not designed to be posted. While you can post the cap, it will eventually wear a groove into the wood.

Our fountain pen’s dual-use filling system can use either converter or cartridges, and is delivered with a converter and a box of 6 cartridges.

The pen features a stainless steel Medium nib sourced from Peter Bock in Germany. Fine, Extra Fine and Broad nib sizes are available upon request without surcharge. We can upgrade the pen with a solid 18k gold nib with appropriate surcharge. This pen is also available as a rollerball.

We ship the fountain pen in a gift box with an authentic origin certificate. Lifelong technical assistance is guaranteed.
